Rear facts about the biggest graveyard of the world

Graveyard word is enough to scare the hell out of humans. People never want to visit these except the time of funeral of their Friends and Family.


Wadi Al Salam or Peace Valley Is considered as Biggest Graveyard of the World where normally 80-120 People buried daily but usual rate increase by twice because of ongoing war with Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Some Facts About Biggest Graveyard of the World.

This graveyard is located in Najaf city at Iraq, it is known as Peace Valley. Iraq is also called as the house of ISIS and this is the major reason that this country suffers from heavy terrorist attacks everyday. And because of this, more than 200 dead bodies are buried in this graveyard.
"During the time when there was a peace in the country, then around 80-120 dead bodies used to bury in this graveyard.

"But now because of ISIS, the number of dead bodies has reached to 200," one of the locals said.

However, the graveyard has observed less number of dead bodies in recent days.
Over 5 Million dead bodies are buried in this peace valley. And it is the reason that this graveyard is the biggest graveyard of the world. It is spread over the area of 1,485 acres. People of this country are burying dead bodies in this graveyard from past 1400 years.

Why It is Tourist Attraction

According to one of the locals at the graveyard, "actually, dead body of Imam Ali Abi Talib was buried in this graveyard before Shia religion of Muslims took over, so his tomb is made in this graveyard.

"Beside this, Shia people also bury the last interest of their people here. And these are some major reason that large number of tourists visits this graveyard every year.

"Not only this, Army of Iraq visit tomb of Imam Ali Abi Talib before attacking on ISIS and wish that in case they got died during war then their dead bodies must be buried in this graveyard.

"Here, graves are decorated with plaster, bricks and calligraphy," he said.
