He Found Love And Remarried At The Age Of 87 And Died At The Age Of 88, Meet The Nigerian Ex-Senator

Life is full of surprises and what one never envisaged can happen at anytime. What is, however, the best option is to be strong and be ready to move on with life after each challenge and obstacles that comes our way.

Such can be said of the second republic senator of Nigeria and late Ogoni lawyer, Senator Cyrus Nunieh who after going through life challenge decided to love again and move on with life before death finally took him away from his fresh marriage.

Senator Cyrus Nunieh was known for his exposure, education, wealth and a respected Ogoni lawyer. He proved age is just a number and showed that individual's happiness lies in his hands after going through life challenges.

After losing his precious wife to the cold hand of death in 1991, Senator Cyrus Nunieh decided to give marriage another shot and once again tied the nuptial knot with his young lover, Rosemary Ijeoma in a much publicized wedding in 2018.

The revered Senator Cyrus Nunieh got married to beautiful Rosemary Ijeoma in a low key wedding reception held at the Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The wedding went viral and got more publicity than expected because of the wide gap in the age of the ex-senator and his beautiful wife. But he was able to defend it and revealed that he decided to give marriage another shot because he could no longer afford to stay without companion after he lost his wife in 1991.

The beautiful wife, Rosemary Ijeoma on the other hand was pleased with the wedding and confessed her love for her dear husband.

Unfortunately, barely one year after the former Senator found love and got married to beautiful Rosemary Ijeoma, he died in 2019 at the of 88 years old leaving behind his young and beautiful wife.
