Kogi State Government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST), has announced the shift in the date for the conduct of Internal Examinations as earlier released in the state.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry (MOEST), Pastor Emmanuel Idenyi, announced the shift in the date in a statement on Friday in Lokoja.

It would be recalled that the MOEST had earlier released the time table for its Internal Examinations: the BECE was earlier scheduled to commence from September 28 to October 7, 2020, Common Entrance Examination (CEE) on October 17, and Basic Six Examination (FSLCE) on October 13, 2020.

Idenyi, in the statement, said that the decision on the shift in the internal examinations’ date, was taken after series of engagement with the relevant stakeholders in the state.

According to the permanent Secretary, all concern raised by the stakeholders which were unforseen would be harmonized before announcing the new date and revised time table for the examinations.

Idenyi expressed the regret of the ministry over the unforseen development, assuring all stakeholders that the Ministry will come out with a position that would be convenient and acceptable to all.
