Corona: Kogi Government Playing To The Gallery – PDP
Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has expressed shock that inspite the public outcry and global prevention control measures put in place to fight the deadly Corona scourge by several other State Government, pointed out that the Government of Kogi State has been indifferent to the health of Kogites.
The PDP in a statement signed by Achadu Dickson, Director Research and Documentation of the party lambasted the governor for folding its hands and doing nothing says in Kogi, we’ve nothing on the ground.
According to the statement, ” it is evidently clear that till now there has not been any established Health response center on coronalvirus nor isolation center in the state.
” It is most unfortunate that the government neglected the people in the health sector and our hospital has been turned to mere clinic.
” Closing down schools with no concrete preparation for medical plan in the event of an outbreak is only playing to the gallery’
The PDP while praying God to protect citizens of the state from any form of diseases, lamented that the government is only toying with the lives of the citizenry as there is nothing concrete on the ground to show that in the event of a likely outbreak it has the capacity to contain the scourge.
