Confusion In Kaduna As El-Rufai Demolishes Popular Market
Traders in the popular Kasuwan Barchi market are currently in a state of confusion as the governor of Kaduna State, Mall. Nasir El-Rufai commences demolition of the market.
The market which is still under demolition as has left many wondered the available option for the confused fifteen thousand traders who are largely depending on their daily sales in the popular Kasuwan Barchi market.
When asked if the governor has provided alternative for them, one of the traders whose shop was demolished said they are all confused currently as no alternative option was provided for them by the governor.
The trader who spoke on condition of anonymity said they are only given days to quit the market, adding that today marks the end of the days given today and the governor starts the demolition.
According to the trader, they were told the governor will expand and transform the market into a modern one but since there is no alternative for them, the governor's effort is seen as a wickedness by him and his colleagues who are left stranded and confused on the next step to take to feed their families.
Recall that governor El-Rufai had given three days to the traders to quit the popular Kasuwan Barchi before the demolishing starts today.
