‘Well Deserved Victory’: Kogi Gov Congratulates Fellow Boxer, Anthony Joshua
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has congratulated the Nigerian/British boxer, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua on his Saturday’s victory against Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia, saying it was a well-deserved one.
The Governor’s message was contained in his tweet @GovBello which reads: “Good to see Anthony Joshua reclaim his Championship. Well deserved. Congratulations.”
Anthony Joshua, who the governor described as a resilient boxer, came back and regained his titles in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night by producing a boxing masterclass against Andy Ruiz in their rematch.
The governor, an amateur boxer, stated that the two-time unified heavyweight champion has shown resilient and great stamina to overcome his opponent.
