Natasha Donates Boreholes to Kogi Communities to Mark 40th Birthday
As part of the occasion to mark her 40th birthday, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the last Kogi gubernatorial election, Barr. Natasha Akpoti has reinstated her commitment to serve humanity at its best by donating boreholes to some communities in Kogi State.
Commissioning some of the borehole projects situated in Eika Ohizenyi, Oboroke and Obeiba in Okehi LGA and Inorere in Adavi LGA of Kogi State among others, Natasha thanked the people of the communities for the warm reception they gave to her, urging them to utilize the boreholes with adequate maintenance while she hope to do more for them.
Speaking with newsmen, Akpoti disclosed that during her governorship campaign across the state, she realized that one of the top yearnings of the people is the need for portable water among others.
According to her, while she may lack the capacity to provide water to all the communities across the state, Akpoti said she equally believe in starting from somewhere and building on it with time as their is not limit to what one can offer humanity.
Some of the Elders, Youths and Women of the beneficiary communities overwhelmingly expressed their joy and gratefulness to the humanitarian for bringing succor to them. They prayed for her life and wish her more fulfilling years on earth as she celebrate her 40th birthday with lots of achievements and accomplishments at young age.
After the inspection and commissioning, she head to her family house in Obeiba Ihima where she hosted the people to a short reception to mark her birthday which comes up on the 9th of December.
