Kogi Guber: SDP Candidate, Natasha Picks Engr. Khalid Ogbeche As Running Mate

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate for November 16 election in Kogi State, Barr. Natasha Akpoti, has Picked Engr. Khalid Adams Ogbeche, an Information Security Analyst as running mate.



This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity, Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organization.

Odaudu said Engr. Khalid emerged through a wide-range consultation with relevant SDP stakeholders across the state.

According to the statement, Engr. Khalid an indigene of Ajitata in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo in 1996.

In his quest to broaden his horizon in engineering, he proceeded for training courses in Electronic Security System Engineering in Israel in 2005; Namibia in 2006, and South Africa in 2007, a period during which he developed and mastered the skill of designing computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs.

Engr. Adams Khalid worked with the Nigeria Police Force (Security and Communications Unit) between 2008 and 2011. He is a Real Estate magnate and the MD/CEO, Rochel Tech Global and Rich Investment & Property Limited.

He was the governorship candidate of the African Renaissance Party (ARP) in 2007.
“Engr. Khalid is a devoted Muslim, unassuming, youthful, a multi-facetedly gifted administrator, prudent manager of resources with profound knowledge in business and administration,” the statement said.

“The Natasha/Khalid ticket would stimulate a desirable path to the expected economic development Kogi needs; and the emancipation and rebuilding of Kogi State”, Odaudu added.

  3. Is this to be called a muslim- Muslim or a Christian-muslim combination.. Just asking sha for clarity. Religion may not be necessary but we need to get the profile the candidates clearer...that's where transparency of leadership begins
