21 LG, 239 Ward Chairmen in Kogi State SDP Chapter, Intact, Unshakeable

Our attention has been drawn to the news making the rounds that the SDP, Kogi State chapter, has suffered loss of some of its executives who purportedly decamped to the APC. We want to use this medium to inform the general public and party loyalists that this news is a blatant lie and the handiwork of political detractors.

Alhaji Mouktar Atimah, the State party Chairman of SDP, debunked this news, referring to it as the weak cries of political mercenaries whose intrigues and money politics were well known to the party adding that they have always being kept at arm’s length knowing fully well that they are like a chameleon, their true colors will reflect some day.

He also stated clearly that one of the acclaimed decampee, in person of Ahmed Onimisi Salaudeen (Anokiki) who paraded himself as PA to Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, does not have the moral or intellectual wherewithal to lay claim of being a PA not to talk more of being one to the distinguished barrister.
He also affirmed that the above mention and his cohorts have benefited financially and educationally from Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti.

We are well aware of their hobnobing around the ruling party before, during and after the 2019 general election for petty gains. It has also gotten to our knowledge that the expelled former chairmen, Humphrey Abbah and Nda Musa, are conniving with some assembly members who contested on our platforms to distabilise us. The party is not unaware of their plots and is taking appropriate disciplinary actions against them.

He, however, reemphasized that the party, and its structure, is firm and unshakable. He finally advised the general public and party members to disassociate themselves from news meant to tarnish the rising fortunes of the party as it prepares to take over Lugard house.
Thank you.

Signed:
Bahawudeen Yahaya
Kogi State Publicity Secretary
