One of those outstanding qualities that correlates righteousness and Godliness is humility. Of all the greatest people of modern time were humbled and down to earth. Both Islam and Christianity emphasize on humility.
It is of no doubt that throughout the world, the political terrain and preponderance requires higher intensity of radicalism. In the African context especially in Nigeria, we have placed rascality above radicalism.
Radicalism is a socio political movement that aims at fundamental change in the political structure of the society.
While rascality is the act of being dishonest and mischievous, a scoundrel.
Let me reflects on the past heroes whose radicalism has shaped the socio political environment throughout the world. The likes of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela to mention but few and we will not forget our own heroes that have shaped the Ebira nation; the likes of Prince Abdulmalik Attah, Ademu Attah and A. T. Ahmed of blessed memory, to mention but few.
The most sterling and mind bogglingly leadership qualities of the aforementioned heroes is their humility, humbleness, courage, modesty and their "my people first attitude". They listen to the cry of the people, think of the people, fight for the people and stand for the people. And today their names alone have become a source of hope across the globe.
I knew a lot of people might be wondering who is Alhaji Abdullahi Muktar? The truth is that "those that would make things happen don't really have name" . Even the greatest people of modern time development never have names until they prove their worth.
Ultimately, it is the rain that grows flower not the thunder. Alhaji Abdullahi Muktar is one of those few people that increase his words not his voice. His humility has made him a silent achiever. He is a man that when his right hand gives his left hand will never know about it. He has touched a lot of people's lives in very many positive ways.
One his sterling qualities is that he is an effective listener that make sure people's opinions are heard, and encourage them to share their thoughts and feelings fully.
In all honesty, I have never seen such a young business mogul with high level of modesty, egolessness and humilitude. His eloquent and pro active attitude has make him stand out in race for the green chamber come 2019.
It is pertinent to know that " the people rejoice when the righteous rule".
A society is in a safer hand when they have a leader that would always listen to them and have their interest at heart.
In one of his manifestoes, he declared that "I shall hold in my heart the interests and the concerns of the people as my highest political accomplishment.
"I must think for the people, respond to their needs, and work for greater happiness of my people," is the most amazing one I have ever come across. Because a man's word is a reflection of his inner thought and invariably there would be no differences between his words and his actions.
