Ladies and gentlemen, time will not permit me to highlight the Genesis of this struggle and how we get here. Truth be told, we are not part of the ungrateful generations who go to power and forgot how they get there, trample on the purpose of power and got drunk that they loss their conscience and respect for humanity... God forbid. 

Today, I am anointed and equipped by divinity, motivated to celebrate her excellency distinguished Sen (Barr) Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, the courageous woman, transparent senator and a woman with substance, beautiful and gifted with skills and the lion killer... Happy birthday. 

I remember vividly where the struggle for liberation began and I am glad despite all the challenge, humiliation, abused  and name calling, you did not quit or get discouraged. Instead, you find reasons why we must all stand strong until we see the end. Now, I understand when Herbert Kaufman said.. *"Failure is only postponed success as long as courage ‘coaches’ ambition. The habit of persistence is the habit of victory.” – Herbert Kaufman

We have 101 reason to pay back now that we are in power but we must be inspired by the story of Joseph in Bible during journey of his destiny to become the second in command in Egypt. He went through the prison as the sacrifice for his greatness. My Sen you paid the price indeed.

No war no victory, no pain no gain and no trial no success. No wonders Curtis Armstrong said "Without a plan, there’s no attack. Without attack, no victory....Happy Victory.

We all have learnt our lessons both those who thinks they possess all power to kill, harassed, imprisoned those who challenged them. No one is indispensable and we must know that we need everyone to get all we need for peace and unity to be our identity as a people going further. 

You are the Senator for all today, regardless and I trust God to work in you and through for the benefit of Kogi Central, Kogi state and Nigerians at large... 

I sincerely pray that at the end of your tenure, Kogi Central will have reason to rejoice and celebrate you. Kogi will beckons unto you for a higher responsibility and Nigeria we will be glad to have you as a citizen in Jesus names... Amen
