Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Has Been Speaking For Her People, Join Me Let's Support Her To Speak For Us At The Senate | By Isah Bala

The good people of Kogi Central have been at the receiving end of poor representation at the National Assembly, our senators are always missing when it comes to issues of national interest and defending the interest of our people.

Those who are against Natasha H Akpoti can testify that she is blessed with oratory prowess and courage when it comes to speaking for her people. Natasha's only sin is the fact that she has refused to drop the interest of her people and pretends all is well in the face of glare misrepresentation and maladministration.

It's glaring that we've been putting square peg in a round hole and expecting to get results, you don't give the job of speaking and lawmaking to people who are supposed to be onlookers, it's time to get it right.

Like the swirling waves in a stormy ocean of our society quagmire, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has continued to dare the odds, refused to be cowed or drowned in the murky water of Kogi politics, and remains arrogant to a bad system that benefits the few at the expense of the masses.

Natasha is the beautiful bride that lay her life bare ready to take shots to bridge the status quo and liberate every peek of Kogi Central.

Natasha is the voice of the voiceless, a lone voice who dared the odds for the sake of her people, she is well prepared to speak for the people of Kogi Central in the hallowed chamber and address the age-long inadequate representation. Natasha is the Harlem poised to offer a paradigm shift in political representation in Kogi Central.

As a lawyer and social reformer, Natasha represents hope for the orphans without anyone to cling to, an inspiration to the marginalized women whose voices have been suppressed for long, and an aggressive disruptor of politics of godfatherism that denied the populace the dividend of democracy.

Natasha is the voice we've been missing in the Senate. Without political office she held the National Assembly to a standstill on 1st March, 2018 during National Assembly's sectoral debate where she exposed the factors  militating the revival of Ajaokuta Steel Company, our common patrimony and suggested the way forward.

Kogites and Nigerians were amazed by her audacity to dare what many people considered impossible and put her life and her family on the line just for the sake of her people. Even her enemies had no choice but to listen to her and admired her potential and courage to address the lawmakers, business tycoons, stakeholders, and millions of Nigerians effortlessly.

The kind of leaders we elect have made us lame spectators in the National Assembly, consequently, the malignant tumor of misrepresentation has refused to be removed from our polity.

Without prejudice to deluge other candidates,  Barr. Natasha Akpoti has all that we lacked in a politician to represent us and fight for our interests in the hallowed chamber.

The job of legislature is not for the timid who will always ask of what to say, it's not for those who are afraid to step on the toes of their godfathers on issues that affect the people, it's for people like Barr Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan who is always ready to speak for her people no matter whose ox is gored.

Natasha has proven to be a voice for her people, she has been speaking and fighting for her people with spirited gusto and refused to be intimidated or retired.

Kogi Central must get it right in 2023, the people need her breed at the hallowed chamber. We are all witnesses to the imposed candidate in 2019 and his abysmal outings at the hallowed chamber. We cannot afford another Senator who will serve the interest of his godfather for another four years.

It's about time we get it right, it's about time we stand and let our voices prevail. Enough of being a prisoner of tacit agreement with time, 2023 is here, we either do the right thing by electing someone that can speak for us or continue to serve our self-timeless prison term.

Join me, let's support Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan to speak for us at the Senate.
