Kogi Council Polls: APC Already Thumb Printing Ballot Papers – PDP Raises Alarm

It has come to the attention of the PDP Media Team, Ijumu LGA, of a dastardly and cowardly act of APC led government in Kogi State, to rig the forthcoming Local Government Election by pre-thumbprinting the Ballot Papers. 

Kogi State government commissioned the State’s Printing Press to handle the task while subcontracting the project to Non-indegenes from Kwara and other neighborhoring States. 

This was simply to conceal their cowardly act of rigging which has started even before the election which comes up in few days time. 

Investigations revealed that sizeable numbers of the printed ballot papers have been fraudulently Pre-Thumbprinted. Even though, we are not surprised by this unholy act because rigging has always been identified with the APC led government of the state. We are however exposing this to the public to let everyone know how far APC can go to subvert the good wishes of Kogi citizens. 

If APC/KGSG wants to disprove this allegation, let them simply involve all the Stakeholders in the printing process. Else, we advise the entire good people of the State to, as a matter of seriousness and posterity, remain vigilant during the election. 

We should resist any unholy act of rigging by the State government’s machineries at ward and collation centres.
